After reviewing all subsystems, Christian from the Mechanical Team was able to finalize the Preliminary Mechanical Design in coordination with Antonius from the Systems Engineering Team. Special challenges arose due to the limited installation space of the 2U CubeSat all kinds of constraints, since our current plan includes many in-house developments as well as two purchased parts that are crucial for the mission:

An Infrared Imager from Teledyne FLIR and the CubeADCS from CubeSpace ADCS – both relatively large components for such a small satellite!
