Projects

We are working on technologies for CubeSats. From experiments to validate novel hardware designs and software concepts, to the measurement of space environment parameters such as radiation exposure and temperature profiles, to forest fire detection from orbit, we offer a wide range of topics.

Our team builds and tests model rockets to gain practical experience in rocketry. The focus is on tinkering, experimenting and learning together. Our projects offer the opportunity to master technical challenges and develop creative solutions.

We design and test research probes for use with weather balloons. During the ascent, they collect atmospheric measurement data, which provides valuable insights into meteorological processes. Our focus is on joint experimentation and practical learning.

We are participating in the CASIMAR initiative of the Bundesverband studentischer Raumfahrt e.V. - BVSR. The aim is to build a rover that will carry out various experiments in the lunar analog hall of the German Aerospace Center and the European Space Agency - ESA in Cologne-Porz.

In addition to our development projects, we also deal with non-technical topics, such as reappraising the history of the Lake Constance space region.
