Why should you join us?
In our extensive space projects, you can gain a wealth of practical experience and expand your own knowledge directly on the basis of real applications and tests. If you would like to contribute your own ideas and suggestions or participate in/design/support ongoing projects, you've come to the right place. We are always open to new project ideas.
Even though many of our members and contributors are students from the aerospace sector, the association is open to students from all disciplines and other interested parties. In addition to technical development, relevant areas of responsibility also include project management and the organization of association activities. The association's work at SeeSat is framed by a great atmosphere. Activities such as cozy barbecue evenings, spontaneous social gatherings in the club workshop or the annual Christmas party strengthen the community and create an exchange between the team members outside of engineering work, so that everyone can expand their network.

We promote innovative space projects at the interface of science, education and technology through interdisciplinary cooperation with universities and research institutions.
We offer students the opportunity to gain practical experience in space travel, supervised by experienced members of the association.

Open Student Research Projects
In addition to voluntary work during your studies, we also offer student research projects at the DHBW Ravensburg. These can be found on the student research project portal. Please refer to the assignment process of your degree program.
By arrangement, we can also work on projects and theses at other universities. Please get in touch via our contact form.

How do I join SeeSat e.V.?

Do I need to be a member of a club to take part?
If you volunteer to work for us during your studies, we ask you to become a member after a trial period. Of course, this does not apply to students who are writing a dissertation or thesis for a university.
What are the advantages of club membership?
As a full member of the association, you are involved in all decision-making processes. An association lives from its members! You also benefit from our association life, for example by taking part in social events. Do you identify with our goals? Then you can also contribute to achieving these goals as a member of the association after your studies!
What does club membership cost?
Full members pay a regular annual membership fee of 40€ or a reduced fee of 20€ (e.g. students). You also have the option of becoming an alumni member after your studies. Although you will have fewer opportunities in the association than full members, you will remain “in the loop” and will also be informed about all happenings and events. As an alumni member, you support the association with 10€ per year.

By participating in our projects, you can support an investment in the future. With the first student satellite from Lake Constance, we are looking to the future and want to make tomorrow's world a little bit better.
