That was the BVSR24 conference in Friedrichshafen
We at SeeSat e.V. were very pleased to welcome you all to the BVSR Conference 2024 from 16.05.2024 to 19.05.2024 in Friedrichshafen. We would like to review the four days here.
The conference opened on Thursday at the RV Campus of the DHBW Ravensburg. All BVSR e.V. clubs met for their general meeting.Here we discussed the past year and expanded our association with additional motivated member clubs. The conference was then officially opened and the first exciting presentationswere given. Afterwards, we wandered around Ravensburg in small groups and refreshed old contacts and made new ones - diligently using our laptops, of course.
On Friday , Airbus Defence and Space GmbH and Space Tech Immenstaad GmbH in Immenstaad were visited. This provided a first-hand insight into space technology and local engineering skills. The event then continued at the Dornier Museum with the Student Space Forum. This brand new format enabled the BVSR clubs to present themselves at a stand exhibition. Of course, we from SeeSat e.V. were also well represented by our team with our exhibits from the energy system and the test mechanism for deploying solar panels.
The forum also featured stands from companies and institutionssuch as ASP Equipment GmbH and SpaceTech GmbH, the Center for Advanced Studies and the ESA Business Incubation Center. In addition, we enjoyed numerous exciting presentations by speakers from industry, research and student space flight, which guided us through the afternoon and evening.
For the rest of the weekend, the RITZ and the FN Campus of the DHBW Ravensburg were dedicated to the BVSR Conference 2024. On Saturday, there were spontaneous SpaceUp talks in a family atmosphere between pizza and drinks. In addition, all participants were able to get involved in a wide range of workshops. These included association-related topics, moon simulation projects and a workshop on the Starlab space station. The day was rounded off with delicious burgers, a cozy get-together and an exploration of Friedrichshafen by night.
Mit dem Sunday marked the end of the conference and we continued the banner handovertradition that was started last year in Stuttgart. Next year, the BVSR Conference 2025 will take place in Aachen. statt. Auch Darmstadt is also already in the starting blocks for the 2026 conference.In addition, our legendary RULER Award Award was presented again, for the best experiences from (mis)successes. After our final photo, we went on a city tour through Friedrischshafen. Finally, we went on a historical hike through the former test site of the V2 rocket in Raderach.
It was a great pleasure for us to host the BVSR Conference 2024. We must also thank the hard-working organizing team for their long and tireless efforts to make this event something very special. Nice that you were all there and see you soon!
Ready for launch? We hope that with the BVSR Konferen 2024 we were able to motivate you to get involved in student space projects and to be at the forefront of space travel. We are the future of space travel!

“Student Space Forum” on 17.05.2024 at the Dornier Museum
The “Student Space Forum” will take place for the first time at the BVSR Conference 2024. Here, inspiring speakers from science, industry and the BVSR will present the space topics they are passionate about. There will also be a stand exhibition in the Dornier Muesum where companies and organizations can present themselves. The event will be rounded off by an exhibition of exhibits from BVSR member clubs and a pleasant atmosphere with food and drinks to get into conversation with other space enthusiasts.

The official opening of the BVSR Konfrenz 2024 will also be accompanied by a general meeting of the participating BVSR e.V. clubs.
On Friday, aerospace companies in the region can be visited. At the Student Space Forum in the Dornier Museum, there will be exciting keynotes and the opportunity to exchange ideas between space enthusiasts and representatives from industry, science and politics. Dornier Museum wird es spannende Keynotes und die Möglichkeit zum Austausch zwischen Raumfahrtenthusiasten und Vertretern aus Industrie, Wissenschaft und Politik geben.
All kinds of ideas and impulses can be discussed in various workshops. Finally, the results are presented to the group. Here you can contribute freely and drive space travel forward!
Together we look back on the last few days. To round everything off, we take a city tour of Friedrichshafen.
